The latest addition to BIA’s projects, the Metal Carving or Ritual Item Institute is located in our Kirtipur branch. This new institute aims to train the people with disabilities a form of metal work to create various metal artifacts. The students will be taught to make different ritual items that require intricate carving skills.

Besides the art of metal statue craft, other metal crafts are also very popular in Nepal. The art of metal crafts has been the pride of Nepal for many centuries. The important ritual items, which are necessary to practice at the time of Buddhist ceremonies and meditation, also used as decoration pieces will be created. The students will learn and be able to create these artifacts after the training period.

They are provided decent accommodation as well as meals without any charge. Along with that, a nominal amount of incentive and necessary health facilities are provided to them as well.
